Chemical peeling is an accelerated form of exfoliation created by acids
that produces a controlled injury to the skin, resulting in faster sloughing of the cells in the epidermis.  Collagen remodeling is the primary reason chemical peels improve sun-damage and reduce wrinkles.  The SkinMedica Peel System includes the Illuminize Peel, the Vitalize Peel and Rejuvenize Peel.

Glycolic Acid Peel
During this superficial chemical peel, a 70% solution of glycolic acid is applied to the skin to promote exfoliation. Treatment improves skin texture, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles.

Salicylic Acid Peel
During this superficial chemical peel, salicylic acid is applied to the skin. This peel is an excellent treatment for those who need help controlling active acne, reducing fine lines, and improving uneven pigmentation.

Prestige Revitalize Peel
A medium depth trichloroacetic acid (TCA) chemical peel removes the outer layers of your skin to promote new, younger looking skin cells. This process will brighten your complexion, improve fine lines, and fade brown spots and discoloration. Expect 5 to 7 days of downtime.


Prior to scheduling a medical spa treatment, each client will have a skin care consultation with one of our cosmetic specialists. The consultation will allow a comprehensive evaluation of your skin care needs and development of a regimen that is perfectly tailored for you.
